Year End Trip: Singapore & Universal Studio Singapore

Assalamualaikum and Hi Folks, okay tak perlu mukadimah yang panjang lets straight to the point yea..hehe

Singapore is the nearest neighboring country of Malaysia and conveniently easy to get there by car or bus or train or airline, therefore I chose Singapore for my year end trip (25 – 27 December 2013). This time around I went there with my schoolmates.

Day 1 – At first, we planned to go there by airline but unfortunately that time no promotion. So kami tukar ke plan B iaitu naik bus from Seremban (Terminal 1) straight away to Singapore (Golden Mile Complex). Sesampainya kami di Kota Singa, we took cab to Fragrance Hotel – Ruby, Geylang (red light district- surrounded by legal prostitute but the place is safe, no worries) for check-in purposes.

The hotel is a relaxing place to stay but the executive room is quite small. You get what you pay for. Honestly speaking, I love staying there because the Wi-Fi worked brilliantly, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, and it’s just a 10-minute walk from Aljunied MRT Station. Highly recommended, 2 nights for only just MYR 422.94.

our room..sorry pic taken selepas kami mencampak kan luggage..haha
toilet, clean & tidy
After check-in, we went out to Arab street..food hunting time!! Get off at Bugis Junction head towards Raffles Hospital. Just walk straight and before you know it, Arab Street appears.

Jom makan di sini, Restoran Zam Zam
Masjid di hadapan restoran zam zam
antara menu yang ada di sini
Kami order nasi goreng putih, bihun goreng, murtabak beef, nasi goreng chicken & air teh o ais, limau ais, milo ais
Then, we move to Orchard Road to have some shopping there. Crowded by many people because it’s Christmas Day.

Christmas tree

Too many people at orchard road.
Next, we went to Marina Bay Sands. I recommend you all to buy ezy-link card for MRT purposes. SGD 12 with SGD 7 inside, another SGD 5 is for the card.

Day 2Universal Studio Singapore. Bought the 1-day adult pass through rwsentosa website by using Maybank card to get a promotion price costly SGD63 (n.p.: SGD74) per person. At that time, we got complimentary FujiFilm Hotset Voucher. Get off at Harbour Front and from vivo city take monorail to sentosa for a cost SGD4.

Penang Street outside USS
Not really recommended for you guys to visit USS on the peak season. Waiting time for rides will take almost 120 mins. Such a crazy babe!! Luckily this is my third time going here. So I don’t mind if I didn’t play the games or rides but too sad for my girlfriends because this is the first time for them. We spent most of our time taking a bunch of photos over there.

Day 3 – Normally last day, kami akan lepak dalam hotel dulu dan keluar lambat sikit. Because we need to pack our stuff for the check-out purposes. Today we decided to go to Raffles Place, took some photos of Merlion statue. But we dropped by at Bugis Street first to have brunch at Qi-Ji and window shopping. Done with that, we went back to the hotel to take our luggage and say bye to the cute hotel staff, Rais. Haha orang JB rupanya, ada jodoh jumpa la kat JB yea nanti.

Before we took our bus to bring us home, kami singgah di Golden Mile Food Centre untuk try sup tulang merah yang orang ramai dok kata menu wajib try di Singapore. Ok la not bad but I don’t eat mutton so biasa-biasa je la rasanya. Penggemar kambing you should try this.

Here sup tulang merah..memang merah gila
Boleh di makan bersama roti
