Budget traveling: Hong Kong and Macau #2

Sorry for making you guys waiting for so long..I’m quite busy with my workloads and need to arrange other trip..okay lets continue my trip to Hong Kong..By the way, cerita pasal Macao dah settled dalam entry sebelum ni..so now lets spend another 3 days in Hong Kong.

Day 3 (Hong Kong) – We decided to go to Victoria Peak. Perching on The Peak at 396 metres above sea level, The Peak Tower is one of the most stylish architectural Hong Kong attractions. Inside The Peak Tower, there is a dazzling array of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues set against the beautiful backdrop of the city. You better buy the ticket with package of entering Madame Tussauds + Sky Terrace + Peak Tram (round trip) for a range cost of HKD 200 - 300 for adult (can’t remember the exact price).

To get there kindly take the MTR to Central and make your way to the J2 exit of the Central MTR station. Turn right, through Chater Garden, cross Queen’s Road Central and make your way up Garden Road. You will pass the Bank of China Tower and Citibank Plaza on your left and St John’s Cathedral on your right before arriving at the terminus, which is to your left.

At night starting 8pm, there is Symphony of Lights show which is the “World’s Largest Permanent Light and Sound Show” by Guinness World Records, has been further expanded to include more than 40 buildings on both sides of Victoria Harbour. A stunning, unforgettable spectacle synchronized to music and narration that celebrates the energy, spirit and diversity of Hong Kong.

Budget traveling: Hong Kong and Macau #1

Hello guys, we’re in 4 friends went to Hong Kong and Macau last March (1 – 5 March 2013). We spent 4 days in Hong Kong and a side day trip in Macau. 3 nights we stayed at the yesinn @ causeway bay which 2 minutes away from the causeway bay mrt station. If you wish to stay there (it’s quite convenience for the backpackers) here is the website. http://www.yesinn.com/cwb/e_yesinncwb_aboutus.htm

Day 1 - We touchdown at Hong Kong international airport around 1pm and we took airport express train to Hong Kong city. Actually tak berapa nak ingat dah train route ni, so sorry guys. But its okay, at information counter ada train route map for your reference. Ermm if you guys want to use MRT for your transport then you need to buy octopus card. Ianya boleh didapati di airport & you may top up the card at 7eleven or any shop yang ada top up service. Hehe.

Airport ekspress train
After done our check-in, kitorang jalan-jalan kat area causeway bay lihat apa-apa yang menarik. We entered IKEA and unknown mall (can’t remember the name) haha untuk habiskan masa kami & survey apa yang patut. Suasana Hong Kong city at night agak meriah dan selamat untuk tourist macam kita.

Dalam ikea- kami beli cup, sudu, garpu bagai sebab kami bawa bekalan makanan dari Malaysia. hehe
Night view in HK City
Day 2 – Off to Macau. We took Macau turbo jet from Hong Kong. Once we reached Macau, we went to shuttle bus station which is located at outside ferry terminal. We took shuttle bus to Lisbao casino. Sorry kami tak berjudi, just drop by je..hehe

Lets breakfast before we start our journey.
From HK train station (cant remember the station name) to ferry terminal HK-Macao.
Macao here we go!!!

Besar kan turbo jet nya & sangat selesa.

yeaaahhh lihat di sekeliling anda..CASINOOOO haha
Look behind, its The Macau Square!!
On our way to St Paul Ruin.
In front of church. tak ingat nama..hehe
Ok then we walked to Ruins of St Paul. It is one of the most visited Macau attractions. Originally built in 17th century, it was destroyed by fire in 1835 & what remains till today is the facade of the Church & St Paul’s college. If you wish to take a bus so do take bus no 2, 5, 10, 18, 19, 26A.

Tarian singa. Kebetulan kami datang masih lagi dalam mood Chinese New Year.
St paul ruin.

Inside St Paul Ruin Church.
Then we went to the Macau Tower. A soaring 338 meters above the city and is the 10th highest freestanding tower in the world and the 8th tallest in Asia. And if you think you’re an adventurous person, do try the world’s highest bungy jump with 233m/764ft. I wish to try on it but quite pricey for me. Rasanya almost rm1000. Next time maybe. Hehe..

This is Macao Tower.

update status fb & twitter, upload pics in instagram..wifi connected at Macao Tower..
Next destination was Venetian Macau the world largest casino, is one of Asia’s most exciting entertainment destination, and nowhere else in Asia will you find such a rare combination of facilities, attractions and amenities. We took cab from Macau tower to get there.

the venetian
We took a ride on an authentic Venetian gondola.

She's an Italian blood and she sang Italian songs. Chao Bella!!
Ooops forgot already. Actually before we went back to the hostel, we dropped by to Ladies Street, Hong Kong. Anyone who visits Hong Kong would surely knows the existence of this famous street. It is a must-visit destination for tourist to buy souvenirs or other stuff. To get there, take MTR Mong Kok Station Exit E2, then walk along Nelson Street for two blocks.

Okay guys...to be continued.... :)

p/s: sorry photo taken from my dslr has been deleted and actually dah transffered to my lappy but my lappy dah tamat riwayat hidupnya..so all memories inside my lappy cant be retrieved.  so sad la..luckily ada photos taken from my iphone and my friend's dslr..huhu
